Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

This Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which orders placed on LayersOfAura.com may be cancelled by the customer or by Layers of Aura.

By placing an order, you agree to this Policy.

2. Customer-Initiated Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order only before it has been dispatched.

Once an order has been packed for dispatch or handed over to the courier partner, it cannot be cancelled and will instead be governed by our LOA-POL-005 – Return, Refund & Exchange Policy, where applicable.

Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible through our Contact page or customer support channels.

3. Cancellation by Layers of Aura

We reserve the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, under circumstances including but not limited to:

Product becoming unavailable or out of stock.
Pricing, technical, or typographical errors.
Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
Inability to verify customer or payment information.
Payment failure or unsuccessful authorization.
Delivery location not being serviceable.
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).

Where applicable, customers will be informed of such cancellations.

4. Refund for Cancelled Orders

If an order is successfully cancelled before dispatch:

A full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled product(s) will be initiated.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible.
Refund initiation generally occurs within 5–7 business days after confirmation of cancellation.
The time taken for the refund to reflect depends on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment gateway.

5. Orders Already Dispatched

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled.

If eligible, customers may request a return or exchange after delivery in accordance with LOA-POL-005 – Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

6. Modification of Orders

Once an order has been placed, we cannot guarantee changes to:

Delivery address
Products ordered
Size or colour selections
Quantity
Billing details

If the order has not yet entered processing, we may attempt to accommodate such requests at our sole discretion, but no modification is guaranteed.

7. Promotional Offers and Discounts

If an order using promotional discounts, coupons, or special offers is cancelled:

The promotional benefit may lapse.
Coupons or promotional codes may not be reissued unless required by applicable law or the terms of the specific promotion.

8. Abuse of Cancellation Policy

Layers of Aura reserves the right to refuse future orders or restrict customer accounts where repeated order cancellations, fraudulent activities, misuse of promotional offers, chargeback abuse, or other actions adversely affect our operations.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to fulfil orders arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, governmental actions, transportation disruptions, technical failures, or other force majeure events.
